Parent Coaching

Parenting is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. You don't have to figure it out alone.

You're exhausted. You feel defeated. And if you're being really honest, sometimes you just want to run away.

You wake up already bracing for the day. The arguments before school. The phones that won't get put down. The bedtime that turns into a full production. The yelling you swore you wouldn't do, and then the guilt that follows you around all day after you do it.

And then, because you feel so guilty, you let things slide. The kids stop listening. You start yelling again. And the cycle just... keeps going.

Does any of this sound familiar? Every day, every week, every month…and you just cannot catch a break.

I know this feeling intimately. Not because I read about it, but because I lived it. I was in the thick of it, feeling exactly the way you might be feeling right now. And I found my way through. Not to a perfect family (there's no such thing) but to a home that actually feels good to come back to. A family I run toward, not away from.

That's what I want for you.

What's possible:

Imagine waking up feeling rested. Feeling calm as the morning unfolds. The power struggles become less frequent. Communication feels easier. Your children begin responding differently because your relationship with them begins to change. Meals that feel easy. Bedtimes that go smoothly. Electronics handed back without a battle. And at the end of the day, a little space that actually belongs to you. Whether that looks like self-care or, honestly, just watching some good TV or simply enjoying a quiet moment that's completely your own.… you deserve it either way.

I don't believe children are the problem. Children's behavior is communication. When we understand what's driving that behavior and learn to respond differently as parents, the entire family system begins to shift.

It may feel impossible right now, but meaningful change is possible. I've seen it happen in my own home, and I've helped hundreds of parents across the country get there too.

How we work together:

My approach is firm and gentle at the same time. Because good parenting isn't about being soft or strict, it's about being grounded. I meet you where you are, get to understand your family, and then give you real, specific tools for the real, specific things you're dealing with.

Here's what the process looks like:

  1. We start with a full family history, so I understand your most pressing challenges

  2. We meet weekly via Zoom for one-on-one coaching sessions

  3. I give you a roadmap with concrete strategies tailored to your situation

  4. You receive a workbook with fillable templates for your parenting concerns

  5. I provide real-time coaching to help you navigate difficult moments as they come up

And because life doesn't wait for your next scheduled session, you can text me for support in between appointments. I'm here when things come up unexpectedly, because they always do.

Whether you're parenting a toddler, a teenager, or navigating a relationship with your adult child, the principles of healthy connection, communication, and boundaries remain remarkably similar. Together, we'll apply those principles in a way that fits your family's unique needs.

This might be for you if:

  • You feel like you're constantly in conflict with your child, no matter their age

  • The same arguments, patterns, and power struggles keep repeating themselves

  • You love your kids deeply, but genuinely don't know how to make it feel easier

  • You're parenting differently from how you were raised and could use some guidance

  • You want your home to feel like a place everyone actually wants to be

Looking for support outside of your parenting role? I offer individual coaching, too, and you're always welcome to bring both into our work together.

Hear from past clients!

You are truly so talented. Your guidance and knowledge are invaluable for all the parents out there. The steps you showed me yesterday absolutely changed the tone in my house immediately. It was amazing to see everyone’s attitude. No anger. Just COMPASSION! Thank you! Now to take that with me daily. And that was all over the phone!

For those that do not know Elise Levine Montgomerie, you should get to know her. Not only does she have an incredible story of her own, she needs to be cloned for every couple and/or family unit. Her passion and coaching is simply invaluable, tenfold over going to therapy/family counseling/couple counseling etc. She is our light of strength, hope, and growth in our family unit, and I am grateful that she is part of our family team and support.

Elise took her time when meeting with us during the assessment and the follow-up session. Her attention to details that a less experienced person would have missed was obvious from the outset. Her invaluable life lessons and coaching are sure to help bring about the change which we retained her to help facilitate.

We can’t believe the changes we have seen in our 3 year old son in only 1 session. Thank you Elise.

So I just had a “what would Elise do moment” My screaming 4 year old was throwing a WHOPPER of a tantrum ( and quite the spectacle in his tighty whities running around the house). Your advice works beautifully...I want to let you know that you are the S**T!!!! Thank you so much for all that you do and all of your life lessons that you share.
