About
Hi, I’m Elise!
Here's a little bit about who I am, where I came from, and why this work means everything to me.
By the time my son Spencer was three months old, I knew something was different. He wouldn't make eye contact. He cried harder and longer than any other child I'd seen. Pediatricians told me to stop comparing him to other children. That he'd be fine.
I knew differently. Moms always know.
After months of waiting lists and a grueling three-hour evaluation, I got the answer I already had: Spencer was on the autism spectrum. And then I went into full super mom mode. I built a team of therapists and made myself the quarterback. Thirty hours of therapy a week. A child in constant sensory overload. I read every book, learned every term, sat in on every session.
But piece by piece, I was losing myself.
I medicated myself into numbness. I drank too much. My marriage fell apart. I became a single mother of two, convinced that as the parent of a special needs child, true happiness and peace simply weren't available to me. I was wrong. It took hitting my lowest point to find that out. But I found it. And that changed everything.
Finding my way back to myself didn't just change my life. It gave me a mission. I wanted every person who was drowning the way I had been to know that it was possible to come up for air. That became the foundation of my coaching practice, and it's never stopped driving me.
As my understanding of healing deepened through my own work, my own trauma, and years of supporting clients, I came to see something clearly: lasting change rarely comes from managing behaviors on the surface. It comes from understanding the nervous system, uncovering the patterns we've carried for years, and learning that our natural state is not struggle. It's peace.
That's the work I do now. With individuals, couples, and parents who are ready to stop white-knuckling through their lives and start actually living them.
I'm not guiding you somewhere I haven't been. I've been in the depths. And I know what it feels like to come out the other side. Not just surviving, but transformed.
That's what keeps me here.
What you can expect working with me:
A warm, judgment-free space where you can be completely honest
An approach that meets you where you are and moves at your pace
Real tools and real support — not just insight, but actual change
Someone who has done her own work and genuinely understands yours
I'm so glad you found your way here.
