Breathwork class

 

 

For 49 years, I lived my life pretty pissed off. 

My idea of a good time was punching people in the face (I managed a boxing gym where all the guys let me beat them up). Even though I got to punch people in the face, I wasn’t able to let go of the vice grip that anger and depression had on me. I ate right, worked out, did regular therapy, and even took medication — but still, nothing could get rid of my depression.

It wasn’t until I began the combination of inner child work, weekly breathwork sessions, and re-wiring old patterns that no longer served me that my inner and outer world really began to change. Now, I help my clients I take these components and put them into one deliciously packaged session of breathwork to help you release bad habits, anger, depression, and anxiety (just to name a few).

“So what the hell is breathwork? I don’t like weird woo woo stuff.” 

That was the exact thought I had when I was first introduced to this magic, but I surrendered because I trusted my therapist. I knew that true healing cannot take place with only traditional talk therapy.  I learned that the reason we can feel so shitty physically is that a lot of the time our body stores old emotions. What does that even mean? Well you know that herniated disc you got from a car accident, but still, flares up every so often?  That’s because there is a trauma, big or small, living in that space, and it’s stuck. (And that’s science, not just my opinion).

It’s time to tell it to get the f*ck out.  We can only do this somatically, and breathwork is amazing at doing this.
